Mirit Neman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1997, and graduated from Loyola Law School in 2001. She has been a member of the California Bar since 2001. She is a member of the Beverly Hills (Family Law Section) and Los Angeles County Bar Associations.
Ms. Neman joined Kibre & Horwitz LLP in 2002, where she has worked on both business and family law litigation, with a primary focus on family law. Ms. Neman has successfully litigated all aspects of family law disputes, including property division, spousal and child support and child custody matters. She has obtained orders enforcing marital agreements, changing child custody arrangements, restraining domestic violence, monitoring child visitation, and requiring drug testing,. Ms. Neman has also negotiated and drafted numerous agreements, including property settlements and temporary and permanent support agreements. She routinely works with expert witnesses such as forensic accountants and forensic psychologists. Ms. Neman has also taken primary responsibility in numerous hearings for temporary orders, as well as in trials, and she has handled voluntary settlement conferences and mediations before both private mediators and retired judges. She is fluent in English, Hebrew and Farsi and speaks both French and Spanish.
